Michael Masterman is a licensed Realtor and Property Manager in Black Mountain, NC. Michael is married and has two children. Michael and his family moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina from Delray Beach, Florida in 2009. While living in Florida, Michael built a log vacation home in the beautiful gated mountain community of Catawba Falls Preserve in Black Mountain that he and his family enjoyed for a few years. Michael and his family found themselves reluctantly returning to Florida when their vacation was over and decided to relocate while the kids were still young. After living there for 2 years, he moved to Asheville to be closer to the office and kids school. Instead of selling his dream log home, he decided to keep it and offer it to others as a vacation rental. After much success, many others asked for help in turning their second homes into vacation rentals. That’s when Master Diamond Properties was created. Along with Jason Diamond, they have since developed a successful vacation rental business that has been vital in helping owners manage their short-term vacation rental properties in Western North Carolina. Michael’s passion is the vacation home market and feels there is nothing more satisfying than seeing both renters and owners vacation dreams come true in one of our mountain properties. After retiring from his career as a chiropractor, he built his dream home in Catawba Falls Preserve and now lives, works and plays in this beautiful mountain preserve.

Jason Diamond, one of the founding Partners of Master Diamond Properties, Inc., has been immersed in the world of real estate and vacation rentals for over 25 years. As an Attorney in Florida, since 1995, Jason negotiated and closed countless homes and businesses. With this experience, Jason began a long-term rental property company in South Florida renting multiple homes and condominiums. Thereafter, Jason not only attained his Real Estate License in North Carolina, but Jason also received his certificate from the exclusive Graduate Real Estate Institute. In the years since co-founding Master Diamond Properties, Jason and Michael have consulted and managed over 40 short term vacation rentals generating millions of dollars of rental income for homeowners. Focusing on Catawba Falls Preserve, Jason and Michael have purchased homes in the community to be closer to the homes they manage.
